Lovely sleep last night – made a change not to have to sleep in about 5 layers – it gets very cold in the tent at night and every chance of a bed is shear luxury. (more…)

We met quite a few fellow cyclists in Vancouver and one of them was the lovely George Chan. He took this photo of the 3 of us before we went our separate ways. As a cancer survivor, he is raising money for a cancer charity by cycling across Canada – here’s his website Journey for Hope. We wish him Bon Voyage for his trip, which starts 1st June.
Love this flower/tree – the Handkerchief (Dove) Tree. Native to South China apparently but I don’t think we saw it there? Anyway, very pretty:-
